After reading the reviews I had to try this place currently the whole staff is new there now compared to what the reviews say none of those people work there anymore,so I had no issues no problems everything came out pretty quick and everything came out very decent the only thing I would say is depending on the time of day you go depends on how quick your services if the restaurant is packed it's going to take longer if you can't understand that you're an idiot. Remember if you ask for bacon well that doesn't necessarily mean crispy that means dark if you want Crispy say crispy. If you don't want a lot of people best time to go there is between 2 and 5 PM

We ordered 12 chicken sandwiches Obviously to go. Got back to our function to feed our employees Then found out there were only 10. Very disappointing we called to speak to the manager just to make them aware not to ask for free food. We had two people who did not eat Because we did not have time to redo order or go somewhere else. The manager made it out that it was our fault And they had done everything that they were supposed to do. Long story short there are good waffle houses and they are bad waffle houses. When the manager hangs up the phone on you and tells you it's your fault that would be a bad waffle house. We love waffle house we suggest you pick a different one. Some people should not be in customer service . All he had to say is we are sorry for the mixup even if he believes that he didn't do it. The attitude of the place starts at the top. There are dozens of Waffle House littering the coast around Destin/Ft. Walton....how is it that we found the worst one? The words "please, thank you and you're welcome" does not exist at this place. Our waitress Kathy was horrible- she would slam plates down on our table, she delivered drinks without straws and then took forever to bring them, she shorted us on silverware and never once uttered a polite word. We gave her a tip (15% which I regret giving her- she deserved ZERO) and she said "okay". Even though we were there with two other families who were still eating- we went to our car after paying our bill to wait- we just wanted to get the hell away from her and her nasty attitude. If you have to go there- sit in someone else's area- not hers.
